Frequently asked questions about the auction experience with ORR
What are the Auction Terms and Conditions?
All our auctions have unique terms and conditions found within the specific auction catalog. We request that you familiarize yourself with these auction terms of service prior to placing any bids. These terms outline the rules, guidelines, and responsibilities for both buyers and sellers. The most important term that applies to every auction is: “All Items Sold AS-IS”. We always offer ample time and access for pre-inspection. We strongly encourage you to personally inspect any item you wish to bid on.
What does Bid Extension mean?
During our Timed Online Auctions, the closing time of a lot will be extended if a bid has been placed within the last few minutes of an auction. Bid extensions are typically 2 minutes on our auctions. Once the clock ticks down with no other bids the winning bidder will be determined. Caution don’t wait too long, or you may lose the items you want to purchase.
Is it difficult to register?
Registering to become a BidOrr bidder is simple and fast. Within minutes you should be able to complete the registration process. You will need a valid email account to be approved. We do reserve the right to remove your bidding privileges should you fail to complete your obligations once you win a bid. Remember you are entering into a legally binding contract when you place a bid.
Where do I pick up and pay for my purchased items?
Many of our auction events are hosted here at our facility 4.5 miles South of Jamestown, ND. Off-site auctions will have specific settlement and pickup locations. It’s simply to check this info inside each auction listing.
What do I need to know about your firearms auctions?
All FFL laws and regulations are strictly enforced. All purchasers must complete and pass background check to obtain firearms. We do not charge a fee for this service. Our location is a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer and conducts our auctions according to all laws.
How do you handle titles for vehicles?
All titles will be delivered to purchasers within 14 business days of the auction. If you are cosigning a titled vehicle or trailer with us, it must be up to date with your name as legal owner prior to consigning.
Can we view items at your Auction Center prior to the auction?
Yes! That is a significant part of our success. Our outstanding location here on Hwy. 281 makes it convenient for buyers and sellers to capitalize on our large events. Our lot is always open for previewing. This is when you are able to gain knowledge of the items you are interested in and discover many other auction items.
